We are very proud to announce that our very own Maples Arabic Music Ensemble led by the magnificent Mrs. Prowse have been selected to be a part of a TV production titled “The World Has Talent.” The filming for this show will be on Saturday December 5, 2015at the Community Arts Auditorium on the Campus of Wayne State University. The filming time slot is 1:00 – 1:15. The International Institute is producing this amazing opportunity to showcase our children.
On Saturday December 12, 2015, you are all invited to the Arab American National Museum. The museum is holding a Free admission “Christmas Party” and the Ensemble is performing that night. This Museum party is a family focused community celebration with seasonal crafts, cookie decorating, plus a photo op with Santa Claus. The crafts and activities begin at 2:00 P.M. and the Maples concert is from 3:30 – 4:00 Families can RSVP here so there are enough supplies for all the children. The Museum is located at 13624 Michigan Ave. Dearborn Mi 48126. Take advantage of this great event and cheer our drummers.
