We believe that homework helps in the development of an attitude to explore and learn. It improves students’ academic achievement. Homework definitely gives students the practice of whatever they learn in school and practice makes them perfect! In addition, homework builds up an initiative and a sense of responsibility in students.
All students are assigned two different activities daily:
- Paper and pencil activity (two sheets per day) that are carefully selected by the classroom teacher based on the student’s level in reading and math.
- Software Common Core Practice to improve online test taking skills ( MobyMax and MyOn) as follows:

***IMPORTANT NOTE: If students do not have access to computers, they have to complete this packet and read for 30 minutes daily.
Students are expected to try their best, show their work, and seek assistance when they need it. Please encourage your child to try all problems independently. Then you may go over all items together. Ask your child to explain why each answer was selected. We would also like to emphasize the importance of reading daily. But remember, reading to your child is also very important.

الأهالي الأعزاء,
نؤمن أن للوظائف اليومية منافع عديدة منها: مساعدة الطلاب على تنمية رغبتهم لحب الاكتشاف والتعلم, وتحسين مستوى التحصيل العلمي عند الطلاب, واعطاء الفرصة للطلاب أن يتمرنوا على المواد التي تدرس لهم في الصف. كما نعلم بالتمرين والتكرار نصل الى الاجادة والمهارة, بالاضافة الى ذلك تساعد هذه الوظائف على تنمية الشعور بالمسؤولية عند الطلاب. يطلب من جميع طلاب مدرسة مايبلز أن ينهوا نوعين من التمارين خلال هذه العطلة المدرسية:
— التمارين الموجودة في هذه الأوراق: لقد اختارت المعلمات هذه التمارين بدقة شديدة, لتكون امتدادا للمواد والمهارات التي تعلّم في الصف. لهذا نتوقع من الطلاب أن يبذلوا قصارى جهدهم, يظهروا الطريقة التي حصلوا فيها على أجوبتهم, ويطلبوا المساعدة اذا كانوا بحاجة اليها. الرجاء أن تطلبوا من أولادكم أن يشرحوا لكم سبب اختيارهم لأجوبتهم, هذا يساعدهم على الفهم أكثر.
— التمارين الموجودة على موقع موبي ماكس وماي أون: يجب على الطلاب يومياً أن يتمرنوا لمدة 15 دقيقة على العلوم والعلوم الاجتماعية على موقع موبي و10دقائق على القراءة على موقع ماي أون. هذه التمارين مصممة لمساعدة ولدكم على اجتياز امتحانات المنطقة التعليمية. انظروا الى المعلومات في اعلى الصفحة عن طريقة الوصول الى هذه المواقع.
*** ملاحظة مهمة: اذا كان الكمبيوتر غير متوفر في البيت, يجب على الطالب القراءة لمدة 30 دقيقة يومياً.
نود أيضا أن نشدد على أهمية القراءة يوميا, ونذكركم أن القراءة لأولادكم لا تقل أهمية عن قراءتهم لأنفسهم أو اليكم.
