As of 5:00 am Tuesday, November 24, 2015 power has been restored to Lowrey and the school will be open. Oakman, Maples and William Ford remain with out power. Students and Staff should not report to Oakman, Maples and William Ford only. All other Dearborn Public Schools will be open on Tuesday.

Power Update for Lowrey, Oakman, Maples, William Ford As of 5 pm Monday, four schools, Lowrey, Oakman, Maples and William Ford remain without power due to the fire that occurred earlier today at the DTE Electrical Sub-Station. The American Red Cross, with support from the City of Dearborn, will be operating a warming shelter at McCollough-Unis School, located at 7801 Maple, beginning at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23. This space is open to people affected a power outage, and will offer overnight shelter. More information will be provided as it becomes available….
