Maples School will be going paperless
Attention all Parents,
As of October 22, 2018 Maples will be going paperless. Parents and students will receive communication announcements through ClassDojo, Maples Website, Robocalls and the Maples electronic marquee.
How many times have you received school updates home with pupils only for them to end up as a crumpled mess at the bottom of their school bags? Or the note comes home after the event?
Instead, email or an app like ClassDojo allows you to communicate quickly to school staff in a way that’s convenient for both. If you did not sign up for ClassDojo please do as soon as possible.
By going paperless, it helps save trees, cut down on pollution, helps save water (It takes 1.5 cups of water to make 1 sheet of paper.) In a world in which fresh drinking water is a growing concern, this is certainly food for thought. By going paperless, Maples School will be helping to conserve our world’s water sources.
And of course, there are massive cost savings to be had from less printing, photocopying and required time to pass along the notes.
Thank you
