Boxes for collection of cans has been placed at Maples school. All cans and money raised will support Zaman International and Amity.
This years battle against hunger drive will kick off with a family friend one-or-two mile run ,Turkey Trot on Nov. 10 at Ford Field Park. The family event includes a one-mile fun run or walk starting at 9:30 a.m. and a two-mile run at 10 a.m. Entrance fee for either event is $15 or 15 cans of food. A prize will be given for the best costume. Pie, snacks and milk will be served at the finish line.Registration forms can be found at https://dearbornschools.org
