Maples School receives National Distinguished School Award!!
Maples School received top recognition by the state in two of the three categories:
1. Closing the Gap: Significantly closing the achievement gap between student groups in ELA and Math on state and local assessments for the school year ending 2018.
2. Serving special populations (English Learners): Demonstrated excellence in serving English Learners.
The award signifies and recognizes the hard work that staff have put forth to serve students. It is well deserved recognition for a hardworking staff. The work of classroom teachers, support staff and administration are greatly appreciated.

Another teacher assists with small group instruction in a second grade classoom at Maples Elementary.
