This November we are participating in an exciting fundraising event at our school: Pennies for Patients! We are asking that students bring in any spare change they can to donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Even little bits of spare change add up to help fund research and find a cure for cancer. During the month of November, we have so much to be thankful and grateful for, and donating to such a great cause is a great way to show this. Each classroom teacher will collect the spare change in a jar, and at the end of the month, the class that raises the most money will receive a pasta party from Olive Garden! Also be on the look-out for the donation jars during Parent-Teacher Conferences! Please let your child’s teacher know if you have any questions.

Pennies for Patients
(سنتات أو قروش من أجل المرضى). نطلب من الطلاب إحضار بضعة قروش أو نقود في وسعهم الحصول عليها للتبرع لجمعية سرطان الدم والأورام اللمفاوية. كل قرش يُجمع يكون له أهمية للمساعدة في تمويل البحوث التي تعمل على إيجاد علاج لمرض السرطان. شهر نوفمبر هو شهر الشكر والشعور بالإمتنان، والتبرع لهذه القضية العظيمة هو وسيلة رائعة لإظهار ذلك. سيقوم كل معلم في الفصل بجمع هذه النقود في جرة, وفي نهاية الشهر يُكرّم الفصل الذي حصل على أكبر قدر من المال على دعوة لوجبة معكرونة
